MAKE YOUR BODY OF WORK

Love Letters

TO YOUR PEOPLE

For knowledge-workers, healers, educators, and leaders who are ready to share what they hold with the people who need it while honoring their own integrity & their people's agency.

You know you have something to share. But marketing feels wrong - feels pushy, incongruent, exhausting.

It feels like no matter how you do it, it will distort the message and repel the people you'd want to reach - the people that remind you of yourself - the people you care so much about.

The LAST thing you want to do is  make them feel like you're just another person trying to sell them something.

Here's what I think (for what it's worth): The care that makes you careful about pushing another thing onto your people?

It's the same care behind why you dreamt up or already MADE the thing you want share with THOSE PEOPLE - the people who need it in the first place.

And here's what I've learned navigating this tension, trying to find a way to do it right (do it relationally)

Sharing the thing you have for your people... IS CARE.

The kind of courageous care that changes everything for somebody. The kind of care that gently shifts contexts, whole communities, paradigms.

The kind of care that can sustain not only your people but also YOU and your building work for a lifetime.

✹ If you have a body of work (or one that wants to emerge) — courses, offerings, a practice, a movement — and the gap between what you know and what you've shared feels wider every day...

✹ If you're ready to purge the "marketing advice" that makes your stomach turn in defense of your dignity and your people's agency...

✹ If you want your words to carry the same warmth and wisdom that your people experience when they're actually in your care...

This course gives you the framework, the practice, and the permission to write from your deepest caring, directed to the people who most need to receive it.

I CAN GET WITH LOVE LETTERS

"This work was the missing link for me in my marketing - other methods didn’t let me be fully myself and it never felt quite right. This lets me put out a full story of a human being and attract the people I want to attract "

— Jasmine Teo, founder of a Textured Life Wellness

Love Letters guides you to:

A precise location for your body of work — the intersection of your specific wisdom, your specific people, and the specific gaps only you can fill. A grounded answer to why you, why them, why now.

A named and seen ‘One’ — the specific person you’re writing to in every piece of content you create, because the more precisely you can see them and their needs, the more immediately they feel cared for by you.

A repeatable framework for any piece of communication — emails, captions, bios, offers, keynotes — with a clear process for setting intention, tracing the emotional arc, and placing each piece as part of a coherent whole.

A reoriented relationship with visibility — understanding that sharing your work is an ancestral act, a fulfillment of obligation to your communities, not a performance for the market.

A body of drafted work — your bio, an offering description, at least one email — written through the love letter methodology, ready to send.

YES, TEACH ME THIS

This course exists to radically reorient how we think about sharing our knowledge with others as ethical independently-funded and self-promoted knowledge workers.

Which is to say, this course answers the question:

How do we get our work into the hands of the people we desire to help without compromising our dignity, values, and humanity?

You have knowledge, tools, services to share - but most of what you’ve seen and experienced in the world of business and marketing doesn’t pass your values test.

It didn’t work for me either.

So I broke the rules. I did what I always did in real life spaces - centered care. I created content as true expressions of love, hope, and wisdom for the people I cared most about receiving what I held.

And now - having successfully created virtually classrooms that fill up, replacing my institutional salary with what I earn through my online ecosystem, and witnessing the ongoing shifts catalyzed by my creations - I’m here to share with you how making your body of work a love letter to your people is probably exactly what you’ve been wanting to do for a very long time.

OK, I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS

This is liberation for you if...

You're a knowledge-worker, healer, educator, creative, coach, or leader who holds wisdom that your people need and a persistent desire (or the seeds of it) to grow a body of work with deep roots.

You care about integrity in how you share your work. You'd rather stay quiet than manipulate someone into buying from you. You need a way to share that honors both your ethics and your people's agency.

You've been told to "just start posting" or "just be visible" and you know it's more complex than that. Your relationship to visibility has been shaped by systems that didn't always make it safe for you with your stories and identities to be seen.

You already have things to say and offer. You may have a business, a practice, a curriculum, or a calling. What you need is a practice for communicating about it that doesn't require you to betray yourself or your communities.

You want a framework you can return to. Every single time you need to write an email, update your bio, describe an offering, or craft a post — you want a way of approaching the blank page that feels relational, coherent, and transformative.

I AM THIS PERSON

"This is allowing me to birth my life's work. I don't even have words yet to fully describe the level of creation that is happening in my system. That's how big and alive it feels. I thought I was birthing a couple stories and I ended up birthing a whole ass world! "

What’s inside...

THE LOVE LETTER WORKBOOK -

A 120+ page, interactive workbook that walks you through the entire love letter methodology — from locating your body of work, to identifying your people, to mapping your wisdom to their needs, to drafting and placing your love letters across your ecosystem. This is the same tool I've used with my 1:1 clients, expanded and scaffolded for self-paced learning.

VIDEO LESSONS -

I walk you through each section of the workbook on video, teaching the concepts, modeling the exercises, and offering the context and nuance that lets you make the process your own. We pause between instruction for you to do & integrate the work. By the end, you will hold a complete "brand messaging guide" in your hands - yours.

GROWING ASSET VAULT -

Real Love Letters from my own ecosystem — emails, bios, offer descriptions — annotated to show the specific decisions behind them: what I was doing, why it works, and how to apply the same moves to your own writing. The vault also includes asset templates that build directly on the framework and excavation work you've done throughout the course. As I create new assets, you get new guides.

LIFETIME ACCESS TO Q&A -

Twice a year, I host live Q&A sessions exclusively for Love Letter students. Bring your questions, your drafts, your sticky points. Get my eyes on your work. Learn from the questions of other students in the room. Expand your imagination and visioning of what is possible when we do this work together.

Hey, I'm Joey.

I'm a story teacher, curriculum designer, and educator-activist with a Ph.D. in Culture & Curriculum. For nearly two decades, I've helped people unlock their most powerful stories and share their wisdom without selling out their dignity, values, or humanity.

I started calling myself a storyteller way back in my lilpinkmushroom11@hotmail.com days. (I was 11 and really into mushrooms). What began as a survival skill in a unique childhood became a healing practice, then a teaching methodology, then a life's work. My studies in decolonization and somatic modalities anchored my practice in the body, the nervous system, and the sovereignty we're all born with.

I now teach story work to heart-led leaders, guiding them in their own process of becoming and knowing. My work centers people from the Global Majority and those shaped by systemic oppression. I share story as an ancestral practice and a tool for collective liberation.

This love letter framework came from the same place many of my best tools do — resisting that which I can’t accept and birthing what I needed first. Then refining it as I sat with my clients and community, noticing what wisdom I’d embodied felt like right-shaped keys to spring open their stickiest locks.

When I started asking my clients to write love letters instead of marketing copy, something cracked open. The paralysis dissolved and their loving voice flowed, connecting them to the exact people who were looking for them.

I want that for you too.

WRITE YOUR LOVE LETTERS

The new world is built with all of our  hands and wisdoms (collective, caring people especially).

Your people need what you carry. And the way you reach them should feel as sacred and transformative as the gifts you share.

The framework you integrate here is how you get your care to them, in a way that honors both of you.

Your people are already looking for what you hold and who you are.

Making your body of work as love letters is the bridge — centering care, dignity, and full humanity.
